“Crush It Real Good”: Finding Success in 2015

2015 in clamp (clipping path included)The holidays have come and gone and the reality that you have to start writing 2015 instead of 2014 has hit. Every year, millions of people make New Year’s resolutions that if they keep, great, if they fall apart, better luck next year. So how do we propose to make 2015 the year where the resolution sticks? Follow these 10 motivational tips from CEO of Matt Mayberry Enterprises, Matt Mayberry.

  1. Get Serious—if you want 2015 to be your best year ever, you have to be serious about just that. The first 30 days are easy to keep that resolution alive and after that, most people fall into a more lackadaisical routine. Change this. Get serious about your life, your health, your business.
  2. Learn and let go of 2014—let the previous year go. You can’t let what happened in 2014 define your 2015, learn from your wins and losses, but reach for new heights. New Year, new opportunity to absolutely crush it and make up for what you didn’t achieve in 2014.
  3. Take your health and fitness to the next level—“if you are going to take your success, income, and business to the next level, then you must not forget about your health and fitness.” Easy as that.
  4. Get very clear about what you want—Set goals for yourself that are what you want and desire and are things you can be committed to.
  5. Take massive action—Stop talking and get moving. Only you can control your 2015, be in control of your choices.
  6. Let this be the year you let your mind work for you, not against you—You are the only one who can control what you think about…don’t let your fears get to you, or let thoughts convince you that you aren’t worthy. Work on what goes into your mind and how you handle your own thoughts.
  7. Hang around those who are doing better than you—analyze your relationships and surround yourself with people who are doing big things. Champions love being in the presence of greatness, admiring not only themselves, but other people’s success.
  8. Create a personal growth plan—2015 is about you and your personal growth. Create a personal growth plan because nothing could impact your life more in 2015 than yourself.
  9. Stop the take-take mentality and operate out of the give-give mentality—always try to give more than you take. Be known as someone who gives freely and is always looking to serve others.
  10. Create a sense of urgency!—“If there is something you want to do, do it. If there is someone you love, tell them. If you have a passion, follow it.”

Be the person that everybody wants to be like. Make 2015 your priority and the rest will follow.Businessman writing - Be Positive
